Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL)The OSL was founded in the 1930 to encourage the spread of the Christian healing ministry among mainline churches. This was not “cool” in an age when the theology of cessationism was king. I have written about its heroic and uphill fight in my book, Anglican Healing Awakenings. I have been active in the OSL for 40 years. The OSL continues in its teaching ministry with very effective workshops and embedded presence in many churches in the U.S and abroad. www.osltoday.org
The Camps Furthest Out (CFO) were established as summer retreat camps to teach effective prayer and living in the Kingdom as modeled by Brother Lawrence in his famous Christian Classic Practicing the Presence of God. In the 1950- 1960s the camps became centers of Pentecostal/charismatic teaching on healing, deliverance and inner healing. They are still active today and a wonderful place to have a vacation amidst Christian prayer, teaching and fellowship.
